3d Scanning Setup and Hardware limitation
Hello,
I am currently constructing a non- moveable 3D- Scanner for prefabricated parts. I want to use a L515 and need answers to the following questions:
- Is it possible to scan the whole part with one camera (with a turntable) or is it necessary to move the sensor?
- Is there a Hardware- limitation for syncing sensors?
- Do you have a recommendation for a Software for my needs?

Yes it is possible but you would need to develop or buy the software needed for point cloud stitching/combining.- Is there a Hardware- limitation for syncing sensors?
There is no significant limitation that I know of.
What would you be syncing the sensors with?- Do you have a recommendation for a Software for my needs?
There are third party software available for purchase such as DotProduct3D or RecFusion.
Try checking them out if they suit you. You can also browse a list third party software for RealSense cameras.Regards,
