Higher RGB and Depth FPS

Hi Mhamadk Zein  The data sheet document for the 400 Series cameras confirms a maximum FPS of 60 for the D435i.  The RGB sensor on the D455 has a fast Global Shutter for the first time though (previous models have a slower Rolling Shutter on the RGB sensor).  The data sheet states that 90 FPS color is available on D455 for resolutions 640x360 and below.  I have just confirmed and successfully tested this with my D455 in the RealSense Viewer program.

I note that you also asked about faster depth FPS in the title.  If you have more than one camera and they are equipped with a Global Shutter on the depth sensor (like the D435 / D435i and D455 have) then you can use the External Synchronization (Genlock) feature to chain together a trigger sequence for the cameras that multiplies the current FPS by the number of cameras.  So for example, two cameras at 848x480 resolution and 90 FPS could potentially capture at 848x480 and 180 FPS.

Section 4.5 of the white-paper document on External Synchronization describes this high speed capture mode.
