D435 transparent objects interaction

Hi folks,

Is transparent objects like glass scannable? I want to scan bottom of my object so can I put it on a thin glass? Would it deform the object?

Librealsense can sense through glass. Intel published a tutorial for the Python language on sensing through aquarium glass.

You should avoid casting light sources onto the glass that cause a reflection though, as this will make that area of the scene harder for the camera to read.
