Connectors needed to sync multiple cameras

Hi Sara Gagliolo  I considered your case very carefully.  If you are going to be using non-RealSense cameras in your hardware sync setup, I highly recommend reading about the new External Synchronization (genlock) feature in the RealSense SDK if you have not done so already.  It requires SDK 2.34.0 or newer and firmware version 5.12.5 or newer.

    https://dev.intelrealsense.com/docs/external-synchronization-of-intel-realsense-depth-cameras

Previously, hardware syncing to non-RealSense cameras was extremely hard, as it required extremely precise timing of signals produced by a signal generator.  The new genlock system makes this process easier to achieve. Section 3 of the white-paper document about external synchronization demonstrates how the previously mentioned cable parts such as ASSHSSH28K152 are still required, but demonstrates how they are now used in the genlock version of synchronization.

Thank you for your answer. As I said, I'm just a beginner, sorry if I seem repetitive but I try to resume what I have understood. So, the component SM09B-SRSS-TB reported in the expanded scheme is needed to receive the terminal of the ASSHSSH28K152 jumper, adapting it to a pin terminal, right? If yes, can I use male/female traditional jumper wires to link just the full positions of the SM09B-SRSS-TB connector to the breadboard (10 and 11 in the scheme)?

    Thanks again and BR

Your question is outside of my electronics knowledge, unfortunately.  I recommend posting your question on the RealSense GitHub forum, as there is more likely to be someone there with the electrical knowledge to answer with expertise.  I do apologise.  You can create a case on the GitHub by visiting the link below and clicking on the New Issue button.
