USB2.0 required in addition to USB3.1?
I'm designing a custom computing PCB that two D415 or D435i cameras will be plugged into, and I will provide a USB 3.1 port dedicated to each RealSense. Are the USB 2.0 lines required to be present on these ports as well? As a test, I removed the USB 2.0 lines from a cable, and the camera seems to still be working fine as USB 3.1 in RealSense Viewer. Is there anything I might be missing, or is it safe to leave the USB 2.0 lines unconnected?

Others have tried cutting lines in the cable to remove USB 2.0. It apparently worked for them too.

I would personally recommend leaving the cable alone though, as it is safest to adhere to standards that have been established and proven for many years.
