I'm running 2 ros launch scripts. I'm getting data from 2 cameras. Both have 15 fps color 848x460 and depth 640x460. I can get all the data this way but 848x460 depth is essential for my application. When I change depth to 848x460 I start getting "Frames didn't arrived within 5 seconds". Sometimes I get USB SCP overflows and REC overflows.
The cameras are connected straight to NUC PCs USB 3 ports with USB 3.0 cables which are about 2 meters long. I don't have the original cables.
"lsusb -v" and realsense-viewer show that the devices are recognized as usb 3.2 devices.
Usually after hardware resets I get "Frames didn't arrived within 5 seconds error" and the visualized camera depth is laggy. On the next try I might not get any data.
How do I fix this?

The problem may be with the 2m USB cables. Because RealSense cameras can transmit a large amount of data through the USB cable at higher resolutions / FPS, cables longer than the short official ones that are supplied with the camera may have degraded performance or not work at all if the cables are not high-quality premium grade ones.
Newnex are a supplier of industrial-grade cables proven to work with 400 Series cameras (which use a USB-C, or A to C cable).
