I have never heard of a built-in RealSense camera causing conflicts with internal PC hardware. The F200 camera should be mostly dormant when it is not in use. It is more likely that your laptop has some other issue, such as a faulty battery that cannot hold charge (googling for 'laptop battery cannot hold charge' provides useful information)..
I have an Android tablet with similar battery issues. Even when it is charged to 100%, it runs down quickly even when not doing anything and then rushes down to 0% at abnormal speed once it goes below the 15% level.
There would not be a new software update for the F200 camera, as Intel stopped releasing updates for it a few years ago.
