D435 external temperature

Hi everyone!

I'm usinga lot of Intel realsense d435 for a project and after a few minutes they become a lot hot! I can't even touch them!

Is this normal? are there any way to avoid that?

Is it safe to leave them on for days or weeks?

    RealSense cameras are regularly tested  by Intel with long running, and can run indefinitely as long as they remain within recommended operating tolerances of 35 degrees C.  You can check in the RealSense Viewer's side-panel options what the current internal temperature of the camera is.

    The fast rate of heating sounds abnormal.  Sometimes a fault in a computer's USB port will cause devices attached to it to heat up rapidly.  Do you have another USB device other than a camera that you can plug in to test whether this is the case with the port?
