Expected lifespan for D435
Is there any information about expected lifespan for D435?
I couldn't find any statement in datasheet. Is there any test result or expectation?

If you mean how long a RealSense camera can be expected to run before they fail .... in theory, the camera can be active indefinitely so long as it remains within operating temperature tolerances.
In the very rare cases where there is a hardware fault due to something that has occurred in the manufacturing process, it becomes apparent soon after purchase, giving you the opportunity to return the camera for a replacement unit. Otherwise, RealSense cameras can operate for years without hardware problems, even when used daily and put under demanding processing.

I'm evaluating whether D435 is suitable for my system. What I want to know is how often we need to replace the camera device.
According to the datasheet, a class 1 laser is used in D435. Generally, laser module can keep its intensity for 250000 ~ 50000 hours.
I guess other modules have such lifespan too. So I wanted to confirm is there any official information about lifetime for D435. -
I am not aware of publicly available information about the lifespan of the laser. Dorodnic the RealSense SDK Manager said in March 2019 to somebody who asked the same question about laser lifespan:
"Laser performance may, in fact, degrade over time. This will not render the device completely useless (it will just rely more on passive stereo matching), but this will obviously reduce depth quality. Unfortunately, I don't have the official expected lifetime data".
The Chief Technical Officer of the RealSense Group added about passive stereo:
"The texture that is projected is only needed in some corner cases to add some texture. It can be almost anything and can also come from other cameras and can move and blink. It can be visible or IR".
Intel does provide a website of certifications for the cameras though to assist the legal requirements of system integrators.
