D405 Out-of-order Frames

We're experiencing an issue with the Realsense SDK where sequential requests for framesets from the device are met with framesets that are out of order.
The end result is that requesting the next valid set of frames from the device 10 times  (using wait_for_frames)  will result in some frames in that request coming from significantly earlier times than when the request was sent.  Please see the timestamps on my phone in frames 3-6 as an example below.


I have opened an issue on the librealsense repository here, and while we are trying alternate acquisition methods this same issue seems to have come up before but with no conclusion on the librealsense repository here.

Any assistance  in getting to the bottom of this would be greatly appreciated.

    As of now, we do not have any advise on this matter. 

     

    Please proceed with the alternate acquisition method mentioned in GitHub discussion.
