Effect of UVC light on camera preformace
Hello,
I'm designing an application at which the camera will be in a room with UVC light (possibly directly projected at the camera from a few meters distance).
Light source specs: Peak wavelength 254nm , frequency 54-60 Hz.
I was wondering if it might affect the camera's performance / general usability.
I couldn't find any info on this topic within the DS or forums.

Hi Matan RealSense 400 Series cameras can make use of any visible or near-IR light sources in ranges between 400 and 1000 nm. If your UVC light's peak wavelength is 254 nm though then it is likely that the camera will not see it and so will not be affected by it.
Just in case though, you could further minimize the risk of interference by setting a camera option called Power Line Frequency to '60' to match the frequency of lights that operate in the 60 Hz range.
