[CLOSED] Update IMU settings for D435i

Dear all,

We are using a D435i camera within the ROS2 (humble) framework, and we make use of the package librealsense-ros. We read that gyroscope range is set by default to +/- 1000 deg/s. Is there a way to change this option within the available ones reported in the datasheet?

    Hi Fulvio Diluzio  The RealSense IMu's gyro +- 1000 deg/s or the accel's +4g acceleration range are not customizable, unfortunately.

    Do you have any knowledge if there is the intention to add this functionality in a next future?

    The accel and gyro have always had fixed ranges in RealSense's implementation of the Bosch IMU even if the component can support additional settings.  The fixed nature of the accel range is described at the link below.
