Dell Venue 7840 and Realsense R100

Hello,

Are there an API or any programming notes for the RealSense snapshot R100 camera, under Android, as used in the Dell Venue 8 7840?

I'm a developer trying to create a depth camera application for this device, and not where where to start.  The 'RS Camera' app does not report any RealSense hardware on this device.

    Hi Michaelsonbritt  The RealSense Snapshot (R100) was one of the first RealSense cameras.  Available around 2015 as a built-in component of devices, it was focused around photography and image manipulation. 

    It was not widely available though and there was no Intel RealSense development SDK that supported it.  The R200 and F200 cameras became the standard models for that first generation of RealSense products and were supported in SDKs.  It is therefore unlikely that you will be able to develop an app for the built-in R100.
