Robot Application - Accuracy needed

need to give a robot coordinates to insert a plug in a inlet (see image below)

what should be the best product (LiDAR Camera L515 / D430 because of the smaller minimum distance?)  for scanning and image processing of this :

should I incorporate anther image processing solution?
