Depth data "shifts" 25 mm further out after continuous operation
I have a setup where we run the L515 depth camera continuously.
By running continuously, I specifcally mean the device and stream are enabled:
e.g.
and then when I want to capture data, I start the pipe then stop the pipe:
After having the stream enabled for ~72 hours, and then starting and stopping the pipe about 100 times, we began to notice that the depth data started coming back ~25mm to ~30mm "off" - each pixel was roughly further out by this distance.
note, the camera is in a fixed position and did not move.
I restarted the application, after which the camera started reporting data correctly again.
Our application is sensitive to being able to get these points correct and consistent.
Is there any reason why the camera could end up behaving like this? What would the remedy be?
