    Hi Saad Azhar  The amount of motion in the water will likely be within the capabilities of the camera to register if the water is churning round.  Even in 2015 with an original-generation RealSense R200 stereo depth camera (the ancestor of the 400 Series cameras) changes in the depth of moving sand could be registered, as demonstrated in the YouTube video linked to below.

    In regard to how much change it may take to register on the camera: in the link below, the subject of tracking the motion of an object as small as a bee is discussed.  The Chief Technology Officer of the RealSense Group at Intel (agrunnet) recommends that a tracked object is at least 9 pixels in size on the image.
