Depth / RGB sync on single D455
I intended to use a D455 as Master for an external camera that will be slave and
I want to have the depth and RGB of the D455 and the external camera in sync.
As a first step I want to get synchronised RGB and depth images from the D455 alone. Using the same resolution and frame rate on both sensors, I always get out of sync images (confirmed by capturing images of a chopper).
Moreover, the difference between the left and rgb image frame time stamps is fluctuating and rarely close to 0.
I tried to set Inter Cam Sync Mode to 1 (Master) with no effect.
I understand that the capability of synchronizing rgb and depth with two D455 (using Genlock) is not implemented yet but here, it is a single D455. Is there something I am missing here? Is this capability available?
I am using RealSense for LabVIEW v2.33 with the realsense2.dll v2.42. I have also tried with RealSense Viewer without more success.
All your suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Is there anybody who encountered this synchronization issue between depth and color images on the D455? It looks like a fundamental feature to produce an accurate colored point cloud. It really seems to be a problem with how I have configured the D455 or how I grab the images.
From this post, it seems obvious to Intel RealSense Support that RGB and depth should be sync with a single camera configuration.
Thanks in advance for all the support you can provide on this issue.
