Realsense D435 / D455 USB Mode
can one tell me which USB mode the Realsense D435 and D455 are using. Is it Bulk or Isochronous?
Background of this question is that for an Application I have to extend either one of them via Cat and I am wondering whether the extender needs to support Isochronous Mode or not.
The Extenders I am thinking about are:

Thanks

Hi Robert Moennich In the link below, an Intel RealSense SDK manager states that RealSense cameras work in bulk USB mode.

A RealSense support team member in the same conversation verifies this.

If the products that you listed require Isochronous USB, there are alternatives for extending RealSense 400 Series cameras to a 100 meter range. These include:
- Using a reel of fiber optic cable, as demonstrated in the YouTube video below by a company called Newnex. This company are officially cited by Intel as a recommended supply source for 400 Series USB cabling in the data sheet document fo the 400 Series cameras.

- Using CAT5 ethernet cabling to network individual cameras to a central computer, as described in Intel's white-paper document on open source ethernet networking of RealSense cameras.

Hi MartyG thanks for you help.
That means that I can go with the icron extender I intended to. Version without -Pro as the cameras run in bulk USB mode.
I know the Newnex brand but they only offer fiber extenders and I have to stick with existing Cat cabling.
cheers
Robert
