Bought the new L515... How can I scan an object on a turntable?

Hi,

I just bought the L515, and downloaded/installed the SDK.

I have had success scanning a stationary object (see pic, it's an archaeological sample).

I have it visualized in Meshlab, etc.

But, I have looked at all the SDK example programs and I don't see one for scanning an object at multiple angles (rotating). I recall with my previous RealSense camera that the SDK came with a great example where I could just rotate my sample and the code would gradually build up a 3D model semi-interactively. 

I can't find anything similar in this latest SDK.

So the question is how can I scan a 3D object on my motorized (stepper motor) turntable? OR is there some functionality I'm just missing. 

Thanks for any help or suggestions. I've done a thorough web search and have not come up with any answers.

    I really hope someone answers this or can provide some info.

    My whole project depends on turntable-type scanning. There has to be some way to easily automate the capture process. I mean, it was in the older SDK...
